We make sure our puppies are well socialized, which makes it easier for you to bring them home, especially if you already have pets. Do I need an appointment?

YES- In order to provide the elevated experience and give you the attention needed to make this important decision. We are flexible and offer same day appointments. Call (719)787-8779 to book today.

I don’t see the puppy that I’m looking for, do you have other options?

YES – Because of our diverse network of breeders, our selection can change weekly.

Do you offer a variety of payment options?

YES – We accept credit card, cash, and we also offer financing with low monthly payments.

Will my puppy be microchipped?

YES – All our puppies are microchipped before they go to their new home. This ensures they can easily be identified and reunited with their family if they are ever lost.

Will my puppy have a heath warranty?

YES – All of our puppies have a 10-day viral, bacterial, and parasitic warranty and a 5-year hereditary and congenital warranty.

Where do your puppies come from?

We work with a select group of breeders that have an established kennel program that meets or exceeds our rigorous standards in these four pillars of care.

  1. Physical Health – Our breeders have physical health plans established by a veterinarian to include preventative care and treatment. This is required for both puppy and parents.
  2. Behavioral Health – Our breeders have a behavioral wellness plan in place to ensure plentiful exercise, meaningful socialization and enrichment. This is required for both puppy and parents.
  3. Environment – Our breeders must provide safe, enriched, high quality spaces with access to the outdoors. This is required for both puppy and parents.
  4. Caretaker Expectations – Our breeders must participate in continuing education on best practices for care and welfare of the puppy and parents.

We visit our breeders often. We consider them part of our family and actively collaborate with them in every breeding process to ensure the best care for our puppies and their parents.

How do I avoid online scams?

Online scams in the pet space are more common than ever. The internet has opened the door to dishonesty and distrust. We recommend the following steps to take to avoid being scammed when looking to add a new puppy to your family.

  1. Never exchange money without meeting the puppy first. Sometimes deposits are necessary and if so, always use credit card. Most credit card companies offer some protection. Never do a wire transfer.
  2. Always visit the facility location. Never meet in a parking lot or street corner. You should always be able to see where to puppy lives.
  3. Often scammers will ask for deposit and then want more and more payments before seeing the puppy. Probably a scam.
  4. Peak Legacy Ranch prides itself on having an open-door policy. You can feel confident when visiting that you have made a decision you will be happy with.

Unlike other facilities, we have 40 acres of open space that allows puppies and their new families a quiet, relaxed, no pressure environment to make sure they are a good match.
