Peak Legacy Ranch was born from a dream about 10 years ago. The facility was designed and built to replicate the loving environment in which our puppies were raised. Every detail of Peak Legacy Ranch reflects our commitment to our mission: Matching families with happy, healthy, and well-socialized puppies making the entire process as smooth and joyful as possible within an experience that is like no other.
We, Bree and Angelo, were born and raised right here in the heart of Colorado. Angelo and I tied the knot in 2002, and together we have raised two wonderful daughters and now have two energetic grandsons. You’ll find the family at the Ranch daily, working and living our dream together. This is not just a job for us, it is our daily life, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
This all began in 1969 with my father’s dad who started our family in the companion pet business. I was practically born into the industry; some even say I was born in the kennel with the puppies! Over the years, I’ve gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in pet care, and my passion for it has only grown stronger.
Peak Legacy Ranch sits on 40 acres just east of Colorado Springs on the beautiful Colorado plains. With my background in pet care and Angelo’s construction expertise, we’ve turned our dream into reality, building a facility and experience that’s truly unmatched.
But we didn’t build Peak Legacy Ranch on our own, we had the help of some incredible people. We are blessed enough to have the support of our own family in bringing this dream to life. Angelo’s father helped completely remodel the ranch and my mother-in-law has been by my side since the beginning as a part of daily operations. My mother and father have also played a huge role, offering their invaluable advice and expertise in the decisions that have laid the groundwork for everything we’ve built. Many of our employees have been on this journey with us for over 20 years, sharing our vision and helping to make the ranch what it is today. They are not just our team; they are an extension of our family. Their dedication and love for the animals shine through in everything they do, and we couldn’t be more grateful for their hard work and loyalty.
